Art Nouveau Mahogany and Brass Armchairs by Hans Christiansen

About the Item

Very rare drawing room armchairs designed by German artist Hans Christiansen (1866-1945) around 1910s. Manufactured probably by Ludwig Schäfer, Mainz. Made of solid mahogany and mahogany veneer with metal inlays, brass fittings. In very good original condition with some traces of wear and age. Height 74 cm, width 64 cm, depth 54 cm.
