17th Century Oak Lancashire Side Chair/ Back stool.
About the Item
A 17th Century oak backstool from the South Lancashire/ North Cheshire region.
Having a shaped and carved crest, a panel carved with a central daisy flanked by styilsed tulips. The uprights decorated with applied split turnings and pyramid finials, having an inset seat and a turned front stretcher.
A rare and unusual variation in excellent original condition and of a good colour and patina.
