This exquisitely designed and fabricated Art Deco Cubist Skyscraper Style Side Chair in Black Lacquer W/ Holly Hunt Upholstery in the Manner of Ruhlmann originates from France, Circa 1930. It features a beautifully proportioned geometric composition of sleek angles within the framework rendered in black lacquer, creating lovely curvatures that interact cohesively within the upholstered elements of the chair. The top elements of the back of the chair has a lovely hand-carved naturalist detail, creating a thoughtful design contrast between the rectilinear and geometric elements. The upholstery is a beautiful tan Geo Mohair Holly Hunt fabric, with lines that gracefully follow the directionality of the chair adding material elegance and sumptuous textural detailing throughout.
