Late 19th century Chesterfield club sofa on six tapered block mahogany legs with brass casters with wooden wheels, newly reupholstered in luxurious grey mohair with deep button tufts.
They don't make them like this anymore! This solidly built sofa came from its original home which is a 19th century hunting lodge in Cohasset, MA. Note the uncommon and distinctive graceful slope of the arms which give this stately sofa a soft almost feminine quality.
Arm height is 26 inches from the floor at the front.
