19thC French Louis XVI style Mahogany Bookcase/Display Case/Vitrine

About the Item

An elegant Louis XVI style bookcase/display case, the mahogany case richly inlaid with gilded brass fillets to the two front doors and both sides, Each door has a three quarter panel of open brass grill work over the lower quarter panel centered with a gilded rosette. The doors of the cabinet has been fitted with pleated yellow/gold silk panels to conceal the contents of the interior which are easily removed if not required. Each top corner of the cabinet has an acorn designed finial. There are four interior shelves and the cabinet itself is easily dismantable.
