Art Deco Walnut Skyscraper Cabinet / Bookcase in the Manner of Paul T.Frankl

About the Item

Art Deco bookcase / cabinet in the style of Paul T. Frankl. Although the desciption says "In the style of Paul T.Frankl, the object can certainly be attributed to him. It has the typical design of the "Skysraper series" of the thirties, the typical original color green, typical handles. Only the keys have been replaced. For comparable models see international auction results. The same piece of furniture was sold at First Dibs, where it was attributed to Paul T.Frankl. The surface was completely restored, burl wood. Black ebonized feet. Original polished fittings. New keys. The green lacquered interior of the furniture has been cleaned but not refinished. Original colour of the thirties. One interior compartment show signs of use in the green lacquer.
