English Walnut Glazed Door Breakfront

About the Item

We designed this breakfront to bridge the style gap between antique and modern. Using clean lines and traditional glazing, we gave a nod toward the 18th century and covered it in a tight walnut burl with a narrow herringbone band. We specified glass shelves because they take up less visual weight behind the doors and allow for the option of adding lights to the interior. Another possibility for keeping the interior light is to put a pale fabric panel along the back, and we have left just enough room behind the shelves for that. Whether your taste runs toward modern, or it embraces the classic lines of the past, this breakfront offers display possibilities that can work over a variety of style choices.
