Large Qing Period Bookcase Original Black Lacquer
About the Item
Large bookcase with original black lacquer, showcasing a beautiful age-related patina, accentuated by a clear lacquer surface finish.
The bookcase features three shelves with 'lattice' fronts, originally used for storing paper rolls for calligraphy, etc.
The lattice design prevents the rolls from rolling out. At the bottom, there are 5 drawers.
