Wim Rietveld 663 Bookcase Cabinet for Gispen

About the Item

Mid-Century, standing cabinet designed in the 1950's by Dutch designer Wim Rietveld (1924-1985) son of "De Stijl" founder Gerrit Rietveld. Manufactured by quintessential post war furniture manufacturer "Gispen". The piece is made up of multi-colored enameled sheet metal and is a rare industrial bookcase wall unit. It may have been modified over the course of time and is in very original condition with heavy patina. Others available and listed separately.
