Stunning pair Unit 'K' sideboards ,cabinets ,drybar designed by Robin Day as part of the Interplan range for Hille in 1954,, Retains they're original CUSTOM green lacquer frames,, unusual ribbed teak sliding doors.. slim iron square-stock legs, and recessed brass handles..The interior consists of two shelves,, one cabinet has two drawers (top left), Remant of original label dated 1956,, Both case pieces show visible signs of wear consistent with use and age.. Hand delivery avail to New York City or anywhere en route from Buffalo NY
About the designer:
Robin Day was an iconic British industrial designer, best known for his injection-moulded polypropylene stacking chairs – more than 20 million of which have been manufactured – and his later collaboration with Habitat. He rose to prominence in 1951 when he came up with the seating for the Festival of Britain.
