About the Item

This Japanese antique cabinet was produced in the Taisho period (1912-1926). This piece of furniture was made using the same traditional and advanced techniques used in the production of Japanese kamidana. Our top-notch craftsmen have repaired the sliding doors, drawers, and overall structure to ensure smooth operation. It is strong and sturdy enough. Made of zelkova, a top-quality wood unique to Japan. Zelkova is an excellent wood that is hard and has a beautiful grain. It is the pinnacle of Japanese antique furniture in terms of material, technique, and design. When the paint is removed, the aged wood surface is exposed, creating a unique atmosphere. Recommended for cupboards and collection storage.
