English Mid 19th Century Teak Military Chest of Drawers in Two Parts

About the Item

English mid 19th century teak military chest of five drawers. This campaign chest comes in two parts for ease of movement on the battlefield. The feet are old replacements but correct in size and style for this size of chest. It retains its original flush mounted military brass handles and brass strapping. The teak is of a warm honey color and the chest is in excellent condition with drawers all running smoothly. At 39 inches wide it easily fits into many situations without overpowering an area. Circa 1850.
