Fine Pair French 19th Century Louis XV Style Gilt-Bronze & Marquetry Commodes
About the Item
A very fine pair of French 19th century Louis XV style gilt-bronze mounted floral marquetry Bombé commodes with marble top. The serpentine two-drawer commodes, with rosewood, king-wood and fruit-wood floral inlaid, surmounted with finely chased ormolu mounts and fitted with a veined beige marble tops, raised on cabriolet splayed legs ending in sabots. One key. Stamped: Carlin. Circa: Paris, 1870-1880.
