Florence Knoll 'Model 116' Iron Leg and Grass Cloth Credenza for Knoll, 1950s

About the Item

Ash, grasscloth and leather 'Model 116' cabinet designed by Florence Knoll in 1948 for Knoll Associates. The credenza features a pair of sliding doors with original grasscloth fronts and stunning, hand stitched saddle leather handles, opening to a white interior with two adjustable shelves and lots of storage space. The cabinet is raised on the original round, black enameled steel legs, each showing beautiful toasty patina. Makes the perfect media console or buffet. A timeless piece easily integrated into any style home or office.
