About the Item

Wonderful 1930s desk designed by Wolfgang Hoffmann for Howell. Son of renowned designer and architect, Josef Hoffmann, Wolfgang was an important contributor to modernism in America. With its tubular steel frame, this desk has that clean and classic modernist sensibility that is still relevant today. In great condition considering it's nearly 100 years old.
