19th Century Mahogany pedestal desk

About the Item

Here we have a very good quality pedestal desk not the usual work type this is constructed as a one piece desk in mahogany. It has a back with mock drawers, a repeat of the front. It also has turned mahogany knobs all original to the desk this is most unusual the drawer linings have mahogany sides and pine bases with remnants of the original sugar paper.The casters are hidden by turned bun feet .The top leather is of the the best quality and the colour is called ox-blood altogether a good desk to grace any home.
