H.P. Hansen Floating Executive Desk in Teak

About the Item

Mid-century executive floating top desk by H.P. Hansen manufactured in Demark circa 1970s. This beautiful desk was made of the highest quality teak. The grain and color of the wood are outstanding. It features three shallow dovetail drawers on the left and one deep file drawer on the right, to help you store and keep all your important documents in order. In addition to appearing like the desk top floats, the desk can be floated in a room, The back of the desk is completely finished and has one inset opening that can be used for book storage or to display decorative items. The widest dimensions are displayed in the listing but some additional dimensions are as follows; the opening for a chair is 21" W and 27.25" H (underside of desktop). The desk top itself is at 28"H (the 28.25" in the description is due to the floating frame which sits .5" higher than the desk top (see images for detail).
