Midcentury George Nelson Herman Miller Walnut Dresser Credenza

About the Item

Iconic and classic Mid-Century Modern dresser designed by George Nelson for the Herman Miller Primavera line, circa 1950s. Iconic piece resulting from the collaboration of these two MCM Masters! Often referred to as the Primavera Line, part of the Basic Cabinet Series. Featuring a gorgeous walnut wood dresser with five spacious dovetailed drawers and single cabinet door all adorned with original striking brushed polished metal pulls. The single cabinet door on the left opens to reveal two adjustable shelves for storage options. Four long drawers are positioned on the right, the top drawer offering six cubbies ranging in size from three, 12” wide x 4” deep in the front, to three 12” deep x 12” wide in the back, perfect for organizing personal effects. The top three drawers are of equal proportion while the bottom drawer offers more depth and three cubbies. This remarkable dresser rests on ebonized inset legs creating a stunning contrast to the walnut hue of the body. A wonderful tribute to the clean, minimalistic design and style aesthetic characteristic of the Nelson and Miller collaboration.
