About the Item
Very elegant Italian Art Deco Mid-Century Modern drinks dry bar cabinet in beautiful veneer walnut briar burl wood, two doors with great wooden decor craftmanship and handles. When opened, on the left side a liquor bottles space and on the right a shelf ideal for accessoires or glass holders. Standing on 4 legs, its unique and typical design and shapes make this a true statement piece in any interior style.
The Art Deco style, that preceded Hollywood Regency and thereafter Mid-Century Modern, is all about making a big statement and was considered very glamorous, elegant, functional, and modern. Softly shaped patterns and smooth angles with the generous use of gold, glass, mirror and a variety of expensive and exotic materials. In the style of Gugliemo Ulrich and Vittorio Dassi, that inspired the Italian Mid-Century Modern designers of that years such as Gio Ponti, Melchiorre Bega, Paolo Buffa and Luisa and Ico Parisi.
