Mid-Century Modernist Bar Cabinet in Book-Matched Walnut with Inset Glass Pulls

About the Item

This stunningly bold and sophisticated Mid-Century Modernist Bar Cabinet in Bookmatched Walnut with Inset Antiqued mirrored Glass Pulls originates from France, Circa 1950. Features a rectilinear geometric design composed of three square sections resting on a romboidal plinth base which creates a cohesive sensibility and displays the quality and finish of the materials to the fullest degree. The body of the piece is rendered in a light hand-rubbed finish, contrasting beautifully with the darker finish of the edges and border components, all with exquisite detail and well balanced proportions. The pulls are substantial and lined in walnut with inset antiqued mirror glass. The mirror glass of the pulls is pyramidal, unifying the rising angles of the plinth base with pulls, a lovely detail elevating the primary square and rectangular forms of the piece. The interior of each of the three sections is unique and tailored to specific storage needs while remaining versatile for frequent use. The left side has ample space for taller pieces as well as circular cut outs to place drinking glasses. The center opens with a swivel function, with two shelves able to store bottles and other barware of your choosing. The right side opens both from the front and the top of the piece, with areas designed to access bar tools and substantial storage beneath when opened from the front. This Bar Cabinet is a gorgeous case piece, ideal for those looking for a statement piece that remains highly functional and of the highest quality execution. This piece will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In Mint Restored Condition.
