About the Item
Lovely pine roll top desk or bureau from Sweden from the 1800's.
The age of this secretary is revealed in the warmth of the deep patina in the pine which only happens through generations of use.
The roll top opens and the top "drawer" becomes the desk top writing surface.
The interior reveals a multitude of drawers and cubbies for storage and organization. Note the intriguing slant of the two drawers that flank the central concave door that opens to two additional petite drawers inside.
