Early 19th Century English Sideboard ~ Credenza
About the Item
Early 19th Century English Sideboard ~ Credenza exhibits an English Colonial style, and is a perfect size as a companion piece in any room! Crafted from solid planks of old-growth oak, even on the back side, it was designed to serve for centuries. The solid plank top features a nicely beveled edge, and overlooks a trio of drawers fitted with brass bale pulls, which open to provide convenient storage. The bulk of the storage capability resides just below in the cabinets, which open to offer unencumbered access to the spacious interior fitted with one full width shelf for two surfaces total. The cabinet doors are each designed with raised & recessed panels with a moorish arch design, and are fitted on brass hinges. The base features solid corbel forms on all four corners for sturdy support.
