RARE SEVERIN HANSEN JR. FOR HASLEV MØBELSNEDKERI SCULPTED ROSEWOOD COCKTAIL TABLE With inset Royal Copenhagen "Tenera" tiles designed by Grethe Helland Hansen original labels to underside Item # 206XKI16P An exquisite 1970s cocktail table designed by Severin Hansen Jr. for manufacture by Haslev, it features as the focal point a Royal Copenhagen series of inset tiles by Grethe Helland Hansen from her series of "Tenera" designs. The rosewood is brilliantly molded and shaped to create a seamless top surface with curved sides that transition into the turned and tapered solid rosewood legs. The underside retains the brand markings from Royal Copenhagen, the Danish Control label and an original Severin Hansen label numbered by hand "68". A rich and incredibly fine work of art. Measurements: 19 1/4" H x 20" D x 49 7/8" W Condition Report: Some raising of the grain in the rosewood on the top; old scars and blemishes here and there throughout including three tiny "dents" on the side opposite the tiles; some light pen impressions and other gentle use indicators; original surface, only lightly treated for scuffs and color; some white marks on legs in photos that were remedied after being photographed; sturdy and strong, tight in all joints.
