Japanese Wooden block table /wabi-sabi coffee table/1900s〜

About the Item

This table is made from a mortar that was used in ancient Japan. It has a heavy feel, and its surface gives the impression of the dynamic flow of wood. Rather than a precise shape, it has a somewhat asymmetrical and unique shape, making it a one-of-a-kind table. It is large enough to be used as a side table, and has a Japanese feel of wabi-sabi, yet has a strong presence. It will surely add a touch of elegance to your life. It is large enough to be used as a coffee table for two to three people. Mortar / A container used when pounding grains, rice cakes, etc. with a pestle. Items are placed inside and pounded. Weight: 40 kg.
