Art Deco Rosewood Desk with Leather Chair, France, 1930s

About the Item

Original, restored french Art Deco Desk with leather swivel armchair from circa 1930s. Gorgeous Rosewood veneered and excellently lacquered with high-gloss clear piano lacquer. Beautiful veneer setting on the writing plate. Nickel-plated original fittings. Interior made in solid mahogany. On the left inside there are 3 drawers behind a lockable door. The bottom drawer has an adjustable filing compartment. Typical Art Deco design with asymmetrical form. Rounded sides with shelves and chromed columns. Dimensions: H 76 cm x W 185 cm x D 70 cm, apron H 70 cm H 30.1" x W 72.8" x D 27.5", apron H 70 cm --- In a Set matched with an original art deco rotatable brown leather desk chair. Base in lacquered rosewood veneer and original chrome trims. The chair is often attributed to 'De Coene Freres'. Rotatable 360'. Refreshed and wonderfull preserved original leather. Chair Dimensions: H 80 cm x Ø 65 cm, seat H 52 cm H 31.5" x Ø 25.6" , seat H 20.5"
