Faux Marble Carved and Fluted Column Shaft Wood Table or Pedestal
About the Item
Or pedestal for a table top. Having a very good faux marble finish on a ribbed gilded and then faux marble black'n'gold base. The flutes with deep and pronounced grooves. The quality gold leaf ribbed base with some wear and red bole bleeding. Suitable as a stand alone table (think inside of a curved Staircase or with a glass top as a center or dining table )the top is also finished for viewing through glass if warranted.
Overall wear, as seen in photos, to the finish ,gilding and base. Top with more wear and grime than the shaft flutes. Top surface has a gold glaze that is a complement to the faux marble veining ,a light veil like effect . Chips, nicks, dents rubbing throughout. Time and use wear throughout.
