Gorgeous vintage Scandinavian Modern teak veneer extension dining table by Henning Kjaernulf for Vejle Stole Mobelfabrik. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The table has been totally refinished with teak oil and a small ding was filled. This is an incredible rectangular shaped teak extension dining table designed by famed Danish artist Henning Kjaernulf for Vejle Stole Mobelfabrik. It is STUNNING!!!! It is finely constructed in a minimalistic design indicative of Scandinavian Modern style with its straight clean lines and fabulous teak veneer. And the draw leaf feature is wonderful as the leaves are hidden under the tabletop making them very inconspicuous. When you need to extend, simply lift, and pull the leaves out from underneath the table. The versatility and convenience of this table is exceptional! It can be utilized as a smaller rectangle table when dining for two or four or as a breakfast nook or game table BUT if you want to have friends or extended family over and need more places to seat guests, it’s an easy fix! Kjaernulf’s works reveal quality craftsmanship, featuring clean Danish modern era lines with sculpted edges and shapes. For example, his Razorblade Chair backrests distinguish him from other Danish mid-century designers. His wooden designs are crafted to perfection.
