18th Century English Lowboy
About the Item
18th Century oak lowboy from England with an Ash top, made from two boards. The top is pegged construction and has a beveled edge, following down to an exquisitely hand carved oak base, with decorated sides and a single drawer in the front, also expertly carved. The piece is raised on hand turned and carved cabriole legs, which have carved knees and end in pad feet.
