Re:02 raw sculpted wood side table is a part of latest set of works by Experimental named Re:Collection.
Featuring hand 4 hand-carved feet and raw cut oak top, this object offers a feeling as just being assembled in a nonchalant yet definite way. With its raw looking appearance it offers contrasting refreshment and original touch to immaculate interior combinations.
Re:Collection stands for reclamation and re-arrangement of already previously existing forms, finding their unique purpose and function.
Demonstrating reverence of beauty natural material holds, pieces in Re:Collection are made in reverence of found objects, vintage elements or details, re-purposed natural materials or fabrication leftovers.
It offers a range of art objects, functional or decorative, that are designed celebrating longevity of natural material, its ability to age with beauty of patina, and ability to be transformed and shaped into new objects and new meanings.
Creative process of Re:Collection involves sourcing, collecting and re-purposing already existing forms of natural origin: solid raw or painted wood, brass, semi-prescious stones and crystals, pearls. Those are later arranged in objects, slightly modified and assembled together for new objects to emerge.

Sabine Mezkaze Berzina (b.1988) is multi-media artist, furniture and interior designer. Working individually or alongside artisans she has developed Collection Experimental - a selection of art and design items that has already been exhibited internationally, as well as added to private collections worldwide.
Her design practice merges philosophy of life with practicality and rational approach. Each of interior objects are created with high artistic value that carry encoded message. Experimental aims for transforming artistic expressions into functional design items and ensuring the presence of depth and poetic plane, while creating an interior space as singular aesthetical Universe.

Sabine B Mezkaze (b.1988) is multi-media artist, furniture and interior designer. Previously working with furniture brands Molteni&C and Zanotta, before opening her own design studio in 2015, she has been long developing her artistic skill and vision practising various materials with masters of craft. Working individually or alongside artisans she has developed Collection Experimental - a selection of art and design items that has already been exhibited internationally, as well as added to private collections worldwide. Design practice of studio Experimental merges philosophy of life with practicality and rational approach. Each of interior objects are created with high artistic value that carry encoded message. Experimental aims for transforming artistic expressions into functional design items and ensuring the presence of depth and poetic plane, while creating an interior space as singular aesthetical Universe. Glass Art Objects by Experimental is a powerful example of this idea. Defined as ‘art with function’ it is focusing on craftsmanship turned into aesthetically bold and philosophical everyday-use design pieces by adding artistic and innovative spectrum to well-known materials, such as stone and mouth-blown glass. Created for exhibition ‘Cave In Time’ three story-wise sequent sub-collections 'Mother Creation', 'Mother Eternity' and 'Experience' were initially showcased in San Marco, Venice during international glass festival The Venice Glass Week 2019.
