English Burl Wood Hexagonal Side Table with Turned Legs and Richly Carved Apron
About the Item
This English mid-19th century burl wood side table features an hexagonal tow-plank top with bevelled edge over an exquisitely carved apron. Six turned legs support the ensemble and secure a lower shelf. The same chinoiserie style scalloping, raised on ball feet, is reprised in the lower section of the table. This fabulous English burl wood side table ,circa 1860-1870 would be an amazing addition to any room, next to a chair or a sofa.
