Pescador Side Table Small
About the Item
A lyrical world of a tropical country with mild landscapes: this is the context of the work "O vendedor de frutas" (1925) by Tarsila do Amaral. The artist played a key role in the emergence of Brazil’s modernism movement, with her unmistakable signature, and its vivid colors and rounded shapes.
This small boat that is crossing the ocean carries many symbols, such as the fruits of the earth, which signify the abundance we have in our Brazil. The shapes and tones, so full of brazilianness, are what we sought to translate in this piece.
