Side Table in Black Granite and Black Walnut by Elliott Marks
About the Item
Black granite top with leather finish notches into intricately joined solid walnut base. This piece is bench made to order from my one person shop in Los Angeles. Solid California black walnut is hand selected from a family run lumber yard for clarity and aesthetics.
The granite top is sourced from another Los Angeles family run stone yard where it is cut to shape. The leather finish of the granite top gives a warm natural feel while the cutting marks at the edge of the stone compliment this texture.
Unique joinery of the base doubles as a structure to create one unit of the legs and frame, and acts as a mechanical connection to the top.
