    Brutalist elm dining table by Olavi Hanninen and edited by Mikko Nupponen in Finland in 1959 This Brutalist elm dining table was designed by Olavi Hanninen and edited by Mikko Nupponen in Finland in 1959. It is a versatile piece of furniture that can seat six to eight people or be used as a working table. The table has an imposing length and a thick rectangular walnut tray handmade in Finland. The tray features irregular edges that are 6 cm thick and rests on four feet connected by ties. The table has brutalist lines typical of Scandinavian design from the 1950s and is entirely removable. We have 4 tables available priced per table. Olavi Hänninen was a designer who worked on various projects, including furniture, trams, church silverware, and total interior designs for many public facilities. He was well known for his modernist designs, particularly tables and chairs. He worked on the interiors of the Palace Hotel with Antti Nurmesniemi and Olli Borg, where he designed a renowned plastic chair with a metal structure for the hotel's café. Olavi Hänninen's design projects ranged from furniture to trams and church silverware, including total interior designs for many public facilities.
