Calendar 2024
About the Item
Introducing Calendar 2024 – a playful addition to my collection that transforms time-tracking into a visual experience. Inspired by a conversation with my dad about our synesthesia, both of us see colours and shapes when thinking about months, and this unique calendar brings that perspective to life.
Utilising four wall based pins, 13 sheets hang in a composition from two, where each page has a month of the year on. Completed pages are flipped onto the other two pins as the months pass, creating a captivating artwork by the end of the year – a visual journey through time and memories.
At the end of the year the artwork is yours to shape; leave it in the original composition that I designed or feel free to get creative. Divide and arrange the pages to craft two distinct artworks that resonate with you.
Perfect as a Christmas present, this calendar blends functionality, sustainability, and sentiment into a unique experience. Choose between 170gsm paper or 2mm plywood, in crisp white or a vibrant multicoloured edition, and let the art of time unfold in your space.

Theodora Alfredsdottir
With roots in Iceland, a community with a population of 380.000, but living in amongst 9.000.000 others in London, Theodora Alfredsdottir finds herself looking for the individual within the mass throughout her work. She believes that good design is a window into the process of creating objects, in order to give the user a better understanding of what goes into bringing an object into this world, to encourage responsible consumption. The object, therefore, acts as a documentation of its manufacturing process; a record of what went on between the machine, tools, craftsman and material. Each and every product is a three-dimensional collage using shapes from Theodora’s collection of compositions of geometric shapes.

- Peter Buchman "Now Showing”, Voice-Over Paintings Series, 2024By Peter BuchmanLocated in New York, NYContemporary New York artist Peter Buchman's 'Now Showing' is created using laser-cut plexiglass, acrylic medium, and enamel on wood. It's part of his Voice-Over series, in which the artist gathers linguistic phrases to immortalize the valuable contributions of other cultures to the American Diaspora. To describe Buchman's word paintings as 'A Figure of Speech' is an understatement of the profound soulfulness they embody. They bear the marks of the artist's hand but also carry the collective spirit of those who came before him. These words derive from familiar phrases, music albums, his unique brand of irony, and the very essence of the human form. 'Now Showing' draws inspiration from Film Noir, a genre that held a profound influence on Peter's film and cinematic journey. The strident and punctual dialogue always fascinated him, along with the black and white director's perspectives. As an artist who spent hours drawing and sketching in pencil, the dramatic black and white hardened scenes just gripped him. He wanted smoke and spit and to rough something up. He wanted to emulate those textures, those scenes, that gut reaction with danger but in a poetic sense. The work reflects someone who is under interrogation, spilling their guts out, or just spilling the beans. It's a collection of phrases Peter unearthed or scratched out from movies or vintage pulp...Category
