A life-sized canvas entitled “Buttermilk Fantasy” d. 1981, by the gifted Boston artist Pat Monson (1941-2019) Measures 104.25" wide (8 foot 8 inches) x 90.5" high (7 feet 6 inches). Monson was a fine arts graduate of both Tufts University and the school of the Museum of Fine Arts and taught at both institutions during her lifetime. This dream-like work of gentle bovines wandering amidst an abstract field is both humorous and strangely serene and its earthy palette presents a glowingly vibrant backdrop as the focal point of any suitably large living space.
