Original vintage World War Two poster advertising La Voix Du Maquis / The Voice of Maquis bi-monthly magazine issued by the National Federation of Maquis featuring a bold Art Deco style illustration of a soldier wearing a beret hat with a logo on it and his mouth open in speech set against the blue, white and red colours of the French flag with the text below the image - Dit Tout Pense Jeune / Says it all Think young On sale at all depositories on the second and fourth Saturday of each month Prices 3 francs. Formed in c.1943, the Maquis French Resistance guerrilla Anti-Fascism fighters lived in camps operating from the forests and mountain areas to resist the German Nazi occupation of France and compulsory forced labour Service du Travail Obligatoire STO during the war. Good condition, restored folds, restored paper losses, pinholes, restored tears, backed on linen.
