Mother Nature is made with different techniques and materials.
The original subject originated as a performance realized in 1998 as part of the exhibition: "I + PL: Italy+Poland" at Design Gallery, Wroclaw, Poland.
The work was exhibited at the Fuori Salone in Milan in April 2023 at the "Fabbrica del Vapore" As part of the Design+Sensible event.
Massimo Caiazzo (Naples 1966) is a color design expert who combines academic experience with "sensitive" light and color design in the fields of architecture, design, fashion and communication. Presidente di IACC Italia, sede di International Association of Colour Consultant, fondata nel 1957 a Hilversum e citata dalla Fondazione Munsell tra le quattro migliori scuole di colore del mondo.
A permanent lecturer in Chromatology at the Academy of Verona from 2003 to 2015, he teaches courses on color in design at SPD (Scuola Politecnica di Design Milano), Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) and Domus Academy in Milan. La sua formazione sul colore è iniziata all'Atelier Mendini di Milano (1990-2006), dove ha fatto parte del team guidato dal designer e artista Alessandro Mendini, maestro della policromia.
Allievo di Frank Mahnke e di Narciso Silvestrini, ha seguito i loro insegnamenti sulla natura interdisciplinare del colore e sull'importanza di condividerne la cultura per renderla una risorsa per la riabilitazione del nostro ambiente costruito.
In 2021, he was named a testimonial for Italian Design in the World and was chosen as the keynote speaker at Color Impact, at Yale University, the most important international color conference dedicated to the built environment. He published with Silvia Botti the best seller "Inhabiting Colors" for Vallardi Editore.
