Madre Natura

About the Item

A contemporary and sustainable interpretation of Mother Nature, a symbol of delicacy that generously welcomes all beings. Mother Nature is made with different techniques and materials. The original subject originated as a performance realized in 1998 as part of the exhibition: "I + PL: Italy+Poland" at Design Gallery, Wroclaw, Poland. The work was exhibited at the Fuori Salone in Milan in April 2023 at the "Fabbrica del Vapore" As part of the Design+Sensible event. Massimo Caiazzo (Naples 1966) is a color design expert who combines academic experience with "sensitive" light and color design in the fields of architecture, design, fashion and communication. A permanent lecturer in Chromatology at the Academy of Verona from 2003 to 2015, he teaches courses on color in design at SPD (Scuola Politecnica di Design Milano), Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) and Domus Academy in Milan. In 2021, he was named a testimonial for Italian Design in the World and was chosen as the keynote speaker at Color Impact, at Yale University, the most important international color conference dedicated to the built environment. He published with Silvia Botti the best seller "Inhabiting Colors" for Vallardi Editore.
