Chanel Emerald Cabochon Kilt Pin Brooch
About the Item
Coco Chanel synthesizes her love of rare tumbled precious stones, with the Kilt Pin (her visits to the Scottish Highlands) into one large signature brooch.
This large gilt bronze brooch is made by hand by Maison Goossens. Of classic Kilt pin form onto which is attached an oversized, irregular, tumbled pate de verre Emerald cabochon edged in crystal paste faux " diamonds".
A beautiful and practical brooch for securing a scarf, sweater or on a suit.
Gilt Bronze with early mark. 1950's France. 4" x 1.25".
