About the Item

Gem set organic earrings with Ammonite Fossil. One of a kind artist studio piece, designed with organic patterns, incorporating a rare pair of real Ammonite fossils and natural gemstones. These pair of earrings has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and suited with retractable hinged posts and French omega backs for fastening clips Diamonds: Two Trillion rose cuts, 0.40 Carats, F color, VS-2 clarity. Gemstones: 32 Tsavorite garnets, 3.20 Carats Others: 18 natural river white pearls of 2mm by 3mm. Weight: 54.4 Grams (34.87 Dwt). Measurements: 48 mm by 52 mm (1.89 x 2.04 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the designer maker's mark and 18kt. Note: Ammonites were marine animals belonging to the phylum Mollusca and the class Cephalopoda. They had a coiled external shell similar to that of the modern nautilus. In other living cephalopods, e.g. octopus, squid and cuttlefish, the shells are small and internal, or absent. Collateral: They are accompanied by a presentation jewelry box. Condition: The overall condition of these earrings are excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold.
