PONTIEL Art Deco Etched Heron Motif in Clear Glass with Gold Fill Earrings
About the Item
These elegant etched glass drops feature a graceful standing heron, holding a snake. The Art Deco glass is from Czech Republic.
The heron has a rich history of symbolism in the Art Deco period. The heron most frequently is known to symbolize creation. The symbol of the heron is frequently seen in Egyptian hieroglyphics from which many art periods draw inspiration.
The measurements of the glass is 1.5 x 0.5 inches. The glass drops are held by a Deco style pinched bail, and they are on gold fill French ear wires.
