0.58 ct Lustrous Green Demantoid Garnet Loose Gemstone from Russia

About the Item

Demantoid garnet was first discovered in the Ural Mountains of Russia. This gemstone found its appreciation around the world because of its unique inclusion called "horsetail" which looks like small firework splashing inside the stone. Beside this specific feature, the Demantoid has a very high dispersion index which is even greater than Diamond. The combination of these unique characteristics as well as grassy green color make this gemstone a valuable piece for a real gemstone connoisseur. This 0.58. ct Demantoid Garnet is a fine example of green color, very high dispersion and small horsetail inclusion visible under magnification which doesn't mask the brilliance of the stone. This rare Demantoid would make a custom-made jewelry design. Perfect for ring or pendant. Shape - Round Total weight - 0.58 ct Origin - Russia Treatment - None Measurements(mm): 5 x 5 mm Cut: precision brilliant cut Certificate: ICL
