A fine ancient Roman coin pendant.
Set in 18k gold.
With rope twist bezel setting for the coin.
The coin is a silver Severus Alexander denarius (ca. 222 CE).
With young Severus' face to the obverse. The reverse bears a seated Salus, the Roman goddess of safety and well-being.
Marked with illegible hallmarks and stamped 750 for 18K gold fineness.
Simply a wonderful, wearable piece of ancient history!
