Retro Large Moonstone and Blue Zircon Cluster Ring
About the Item
A fabulous multi-stone cluster ring from the Early Retro (ca1930s) period! This gorgeous piece, which is particularly large in size, is crafted in sterling silver and features a bed of vibrant gemstones. Set at the very center is a single elongated cabochon moonstone which is encircled by two layers of sparkling blue zircons. The stones come together to form a large cluster which is oval in shape, following the natural curve of the finger, and each stone is bezel set, exhibiting wonderful, vibrant color. Ornate sterling beads are interspersed throughout the gemstone cluster and floral-shaped sterling motifs adorn each shoulder. The underside of the ring is stamped with a "STERLING" purity mark. This wonderful piece is fun to wear and would make a great addition to any collection!
The multi-stone cluster measures 1 5/8" tall, 1 1/8" wide and has a depth of 3/8". The ring has a finger size 8, however, due the design as well as the flexible collar found inside the shank, it could accommodate a slightly larger or smaller ring size. It could also easily be resized.
