About the Item

A Victorian turquoise and diamond double heart ring, the two cabochon-cut turquoise each surrounded by an old-cut diamond-set frame, with diamond-set bow top, the diamonds estimated to weigh 0.75 carats in total, all set in silver, to yellow gold gallery and shank, bearing French import gold mark, circa 1880, the head measuring approximately 1.7 x 1.7cm, finger size K ½, gross weight 5.1 grams. This gorgeous Victorian ring comes from the collection of Bentley and Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. This piece features two cabochon-cut turquoise stones, each enclosed within a heart-shaped border of diamonds. The two hearts are tied together with a lovely and delicate diamond set bow. The yellow gold shank provides a perfect complement to the bright turquoise and the lively diamonds. A lovely, romantic ring. This antique ring is in very good condition for its age. Bearing French import gold mark for 18ct gold.
