Victorian Gem Set Horseshoe and Riding Crop Ring
About the Item
Here we have a 15ct yellow gold ring that originally dates back to the Victorian era. Th head of this piece has been crafted into the shape of a horseshoe and riding crop with neatly set pink sapphires and white seed pearls individually nestled around the body in an alternating sequence.
This piece started life as a stick pin but has been masterfully transformed into a more practical everyday ring by antique jewellery restorer/re-designer, Gaetano Chiavetta.
