Christian Kroner Art
German, 1838-1911
Christian Kroner was initially employed as a decorative painter, it was not until 1861 that he decided to dedicate his life to being an artist. The results were dramatic, Kroner produced highly atmospheric scenes of the forests and wildlife in the areas surrounding Munich and Dusseldorf. Kroner was renowned for his scenes featuring deer. Kroner was awarded a gold medal at the Berlin Expo of 1896 he also exhibited regularly at the Berlin Academy.
