Edwin Henry Boddington Canvas Size: 20 x 32" (51 x 81cm) Outside Frame Size: 29 x 41" (74 x 104cm) A very good and typical example of his work which has been relined for preservation only. He lived 1836 - 1905 Landscape and River Scene Painter. Son of Henry John Boddington, he painted mainly scenes of the Thames. He developed a very personal and recognisable style. His river scenes are usually painted in a pale evening light, using a range of very dark greens and browns.
