P.010502-II by Toshio Iezumi - Contemporary glass sculpture, green, abstract
Located in Paris, FR
P.010502-II is a glass sculpture by Japanese contemporary artist Toshio Iezumi, dimensions are 75 × 38 × 9 cm (29.5 × 15 × 3.5 in).
The sculpture is signed and numbered, it is part of a limited edition of 7 editions and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Beginning in 1996, the artist experimented with a new format for his work in the "Projection" series, which resulted in mural sculptures. The artwork's heat reflective glass reflected the surroundings, but in a distorted and very different way than what a viewer might expect to see in a mirror. This position encouraged frontal viewing and played with the idea of a mirror.
