Landscape is an original modern artwork realized by the Italian artist Mino Maccari (Siena, 1898 - Rome, 1989). Original woodcut on Ivory paper. Hand signed lower right in pencil. Excellent conditions.. Mino Maccari (Siena, 1898 – Rome, 1989). Maccari was a popular Italian painter and engraver. He produced many artworks through different graphic techniques. He exhibited at important international exhibitions in the fields of art and graphics. In 1959, he became the director of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome; in 1963, he won Antonio Feltrinelli's prize for painting and became president of the San Luca Academy. He realized many lithographs and etchings of satirical and political subject matters. He was also famous for erotic and sexual drawings. He has worked for many years at Il Mondo.

    Hermann Kätelhön (German, * 22. September 1884 in Hofgeismar; † 24. November 1940 in München) Workers - Lithograph, Sheet ca. 56 x 41 cm - Signed bottom right - The photographs show the sheet behind its tired vintage paper mount - The sheet however has become loose, as the glue has dried out. By 1919 Hermann Käthelhön had established himself and was well known for his numerous drawings, etchings and woodcuts of people and landscapes of the Schwalm in Willingshausen. He portrayed peasants with great care, was fascinated by the Willingshausen landscape and captivated by the motifs of field work.
