Absolutely incredible 1940's Persian Lori. This piece of nomadic heritage is absolutely stunning! The Lors of Iran are some of the most creative and skilled tribe of weavers in the world! They chose the finest wool, and most beautiful natural dyes and colors they could create. The vegetable dyes in this rug paired with the very fine wool make its colors dazzle in the light! The story of this rug is as amazing as it's appearance. Nomadic weavers raised the sheep, sheared, dyed and spun the wool and then wove this into the masterpiece you see today, all while trekking up and down Iran! Through it's journey this piece seems to be untouched by time and is absolutely stunning. If you are looking for a truthfully special and unique addition to your home, then this is the rug for you!
